ESS-Leave Request, MSS-Team Calendar Throwing Exception

Dear All,

We are working on ESS MSS-SP11 patches, EP7.0 SP15. In ECC 6.0, SAPHR and EA-HR are on SP21.

I am facing problem while accessing ESS-Leave Request and MSS-Team Calendar.

As soon as I click on these links following exception is getting thrown.

I have maintained the absences in SPRO->Personal Mgt->ESS->Working Time->Leave Req->Processing Processes->Specify Processing processes for types of leave, for the correct PSG.

Please suggest the solution.

Just restart the java engine and check, Or if this doesnt help, make sure that you upgrade to SP 12 or make sure note is implemented correctly

You need to do both front end and backend changes, Make sure you apply the front end changes as indicated in the note

also restart the JAVA engine this is important!

We have ess,mss and pcui_gp patches on SP11.

Do we need to upgrade these too ?

can you check the corrections mentined in same note. Has that been done in the code.

I have send ESS behaving tough if there is something missin gwith an employee data too recently.

Can you check if this is good for all the employees.

check in se11 transaction for structure p2001 do you view this field please.

also please confirm what is your EA-Hr stack.

I would advise raise an oss message assap for this.

Thanks for reply.

Both EA-HR and SAP-HR are on SP29. I checked the P2001 structure. The field UMSKD is present there.

As I told earlier, we havenot applied the note as we are on higher- upgraded SP level - SP29.

I will raise the OSS.

Instead of applying the note, we upgraded SAP-HR and EA-HR to SP29.

But still the problem is still there. Please suggest the solution.
