I'm wondering what is the best way to manage recurring invoices with a delivery. I've heard of reusing quotes each month, but is there a better way to manage it without an add-on? And if not, which add-on is recommended? Anyone used or heard of BoyumIT Usability add-on?
Thanks in advance!
Mike
Hi Mike,
If you have to accomplish recurring invoices without an Add-on; Draft is the way to go, however looking at your requirement you are correct this will not solve your problem. Coming to the add-on available, well we do have a add-on known as Greytrix SAP B1 - Recurring Suiteu2026.
Through Recurring Suite; user can create templates of Sales Order, A/R Invoice, Purchase Order and A/P Invoice. From this template; user can post as many as documents at specific intervals. Recurring Sales Order and Purchase Order supports both Item and Service type details. For details on this Add-on please visit below link

I think you can use this Add-on and use Sales order Template, this will create sales orders on regular intervals, I know this will not solve the actual purpose but what we can do is we can tweak our add-on slightly so that the Order automatically gets Delivered and Invoiced. Also if you donu2019t wish to create any Sales Order we can have it directly create Delivery and Invoice, this should not take much effort as we already have another Add-on which automates Deliveries and Invoicing in Pick and Pack Manager area we can utilize this code.
For details on Deliveries and Invoicing in Pick and Pack Manager, please visit below link.

So check the Add-on and see if this is of some interest to you, if you need further help you can reach me at sap at greytrix.com

Nitin

Hi Nits,
Your solution is really valuable to those companies doing a recurring billing.
Nits, please confirm if this can be use to a company doing service subscription (Cable Television) wherein billing needs to be generated every month, or an interval of 30 days.
Or, do you have a specific solution to address this scenario.
Thank you.

Hi Mike ,
can you please state the purpose of having recurring invoice from delivery. SAP B! has only recurring Journal entry posting which means the transaction will be executed on specified date automatically ..
You can duplicate invoice which is very easy to do
Go to data --> Tools -
>Duplicate
other option is you save the document as draft for all and use it multiple times
I am sorry i have no information about addon for your specific purpose
Thank you

Thanks for the reply BIshal!
The purpose of having a recurring invoice with delivery is that the application I have in mind isn't a subscription or other invoice only recurrence.
I have heard of a draft and quote being used for multiple instances, but I'm looking for another answer. Either there is a faster way in B1 or there might be an add-on which will recurr the invoice and generate a delivery for it. All of the invoices have items sent out via delivery. So I would hate to have them push one button to generate a nice recurring invoice and then have to go through 200 items and click to turn into a delivery for the warehouse.

Hi Mike ,
I am not sure whether this will fulfill your purpose but you can give a try .
Go to Sales A/R --> Document generation Wizard
Define a parameter
Then Create a multiple delivery based on a/r reserve invoice
You can create multiple delivery from A/R reserve invoice at one time .
I hope that helps you
