Unable to create ODBC SQL anywhere 18 relational connection in IDT

Hello All,

System Detail : BO 4.1 SP 10 installed on web tier

Audit DB : SQL Anywhere 17 installed on Application Tier

when I try to create relational connection using IDT tool and test the connection, it fails with below error. Kindly assist.

Error says to create 64 bit DSN ,but to do so we need db drivers installed. IDT tool is installed on web tier and audit DB is on application tier (different server)

Do we need to install audit db on web tier also to establish the connection.

The error shown is from Microsoft ODBC driver, the database you're connecting to is Sybase SQL Anywhere.
Do you see the problem ?
Either you're using microsoft ODBC driver to connect to your DB or you do not have Sybase drivers installed on machine where IDT is.

You need to have 32bit Sybase SQL anywhere drivers on machine where IDT is.
And you need 64bit SQL anywhere drivers on machine where your Business Intelligence platform servers are running.
If IDT and BI Platform are on the same machine, then you need to have both 32bit and 64 bit drivers on it.
