Manage transitory landscapes: ECC integrated with S4 HANA

We often have to face the temporary scenario in big corporation where new S4 HANA platform will have to live with other existing landscape for a while.

Tipically pilot company and any new possible company will be managed directly in S4 HANA but other existing company will be rolled out across a given roadmap.

In particular we have a central SAP instance based on ECC 6.0 that manages centrally vendor, customer and material master; we do need then to integrate S4 HANA with these two applications, is there any tool or connector that could be used for that?

A parallell SAP MDG project could start in the near future but we won't have this for at least 18 months.

Thanks a lot.

    Thanks a lot Julien.

we haven't thought to adopt central Finance, because the scenario is to build a pilot with S4 HANA both Finance and logistic and then roll-out existing SAP business suite on HANA into new S4 HANA. All existing SAP included the new S4 and non-SAP have to send Finance information to Hyperion for consolidated figures.

it means that we need to manage master data from existing SAP to be imported in new S4 HANA waiting fro future MDG application.

    Thanks,

    Lorenzo.

Have you looked into Central Finance? It's a full SAP S/4HANA Instance with an additional integration component on the local system and on source systems. You can even connect it to SAP MDG for Master Data Synchronization. We're currently using this strategy to realize the landscape transition of a very large customer.
