Reuse of SAPUI5 Component in local SAP Web IDE

Hello,

I would like to reuse a component in another ui5 app. I understand this is possible in SAP Web IDE when you deploy the app to HCP. But we are using local SAP Web IDE where we don't have access to HCP or ABAP repository. We clearly use local Web IDE for generating the build. Is there anyway that I can access the component without the "need" to deploy? I have tried using jQuery.sap.getModulePath to load the component and

jQuey.sap.require to register the component but I get 500 Server Error from Web IDE when I try jQuery.sap.getModulePath. Please know that I am using local SAP Web IDE.
