EEWB: Delete Extension giving error

Hello Experts,

I am trying to add some custom fields to Complaints Transaction header.

So I logged into EEWB

a) Created a project and assigned it to $tmp packaged[The biggest mistake ,never do this, assign to the one you create]

b) Then created a 2 new extension of EEWB Bus Object = Complaints and Extension Type = CUSTOMER_H under same project

c) Started the wizard

d) It didnt asked me for the transport for the extension but asked for the second.

d) It immediately threw an error like this.

Table CI_EEW_BUS2000120_SEARCH can't be created with package $TMP

e) So I tried to delete the extension so that I can created a new one.

f) It said u can't delete ,since objects have assigned to the transport either u can manually delete those or release the transport request

g) I did both it

h) I tried to delete the extn again it shows me the same error above.

i) I checked the above search object it is assigned to some other package.

a) I created a new package and created project with this package

b) Then i tried to create a new extensions with same biz object and type as gave this error.

Extension type COMPLAINTS - CUSTOMER_H cannot be combined with package [New Package]

Message no. OXT_MISC327

You have tried to create an extension of type CUSTOMER_H in a project with package [New Package]. All extensions of type CUSTOMER_H must be assigned to the same transport layer. Because there are already extensions of this type, the layer hass already been determined. Package [New Package], however, has another transport layer.

You have the following options:

1. Delete all extensions that have already been created with type CUSTOMER_H. This enables you to determine a new transport layer.

2. Create the extension in a project with another package, whose transport layer matches that of the extension type.
