hi bhupinder,

there is no tcode which is used to start the visual and config tool from abap stack . i think the tcode which ur discussing is used to interact the visual and config tools from the abap stack to java stack.

If you are sure and know better than people answering, then why are you asking questions ?

You're the only one with this need...

Hi Bhupinder,

You are correct, this forum is about helping people. In my estimation as a moderator, your question has been answered several times. That is, this transaction does not exist. Perhaps you worked somewhere that a custom transaction was created to start these tools, but I have never heard of such a transaction either. And, as Oliver pointed out, it does not make much sense, anyway.

I request that you close this thread.

Also, since this is a professional forum (for helping people) I ask again that all posts here are made professionally. That is, please use complete words spelled correctly (there is a spell checker in the posting tool) and proper capitalization. Doing this respects the readers who you would like to help you. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Matt

There is no direct T-Code to Start Visual Admin, But there is one report RSPOR_SETUP which is used to setup integration between BI and Portal. This can be used to start the visual admin directly after executing the report. you have to provide the complete path /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS<NR>/j2ee. When you execute this report after filling the complete details you will get a button Goto SAP J2EE Visual Administrator. Hope you were looking for this...

I took the ADM200-course just recently where I learned about Visual Administrator and Config Tool and how to use them. I was told about ways of starting them and there was nothing mentioned about any ABAP-transactions.

The only thing I could imagine is a customized self-built transaction which calls an Operating-System-Command or something like that.

Hi,

Thats sounds odd!!!!!!! If u remember plz tell me

I never used them from ABAP, they are java tools so they have to be started at usr/sap/sid/instnce/j2ee/configtool/configtool.sh

and visual admin is at usr/sap/sid/instnce/j2ee/admin/go.sh

Vamshi.

Hi,

Are you sure about this transaction code ?

I've never seen it and neither of my colleagues.

I'don't even see what would be the purpose of that.
