How to check the status of an IDoc in the Target system

Hi Experts,

we are using a self-made program to send Material and BOMs from Client A to Client B into the same ERP System.

How can I check the status of an IDoc in the Target Client B (like BD87 - ALE Monitor) ?

If you have some examples or Function, please give me the information.

Rewards if helpful.

Regards,

David

    HI David,

    Monitoring:

you can use the IDoc Monitor: WE05 / WE02 or the BD87 Statusmonitor.

    Acknowledgement.

you can setup your Receiving and Sending Systems to use the MessageType ALEAUD and send an acknowledgement from the receiving System to the Sending System.

The present Receiving IDoc Status or Errormessage is entered in the sending System IDoc.

Please have a look at ALEAUD configuration.

    Hi David,

Go to the Destination System, Use either WE02, WE05 or WE09 T.codes and give the respective Message types & date on which it has been created.

It gives the different status assinged to the particular IDoc on the Left hand side.

    Else.

Go to table EDIDS and give the IDoc No and display it. It shows the respective status assinged to IDoc based on Time Stamps.

    Regards,
