CON2 Poor perfomance

Hi Guys,

I have a poor performance when execute the transaction CON2(Module CO), so i spent the run in background mode.

And still having performance problems.

How can i improve the performance of this transaction ?

My environment

SAP: 4.7 SAPKH47027

OS: Solaris 5.9

Database: Oracle 9.2.0.8

    Hi Marcos,

    Before commenting on anything about the performance of the transaction, would suggest you to perform SQL and Abap trace for that transaction. Based on those

    traces, we can come to a conclusion where exactly it is consuming time.

    And also before performing the trace would like to know the kernel release and patch level of you system. Because..

    If System is on kernel 700 then patchlevel should be atleast 145.

    If System is on kernel 640 then patchlevel should be atleast 193.

    Upgrade your kernel accordingly and perform the traces, other wise as per the below SAP Notes their might occur some update problems and in the worst case might result in system crash.

    1076804- Incomplete update records

    1132350- Incomplete update records

    After upgrading the kernel patch to above mentioned level, would request you to perform SQL and abap traces and also try to monitor the STAD records for the trace

    interval, so that you can have breakup of each and every dialog step.
