message for insp lot

Dear all,

for a particular plant,inspection type,vendor and a material is there any way to give a message that whwnever we create an inspection lot second time for a purchase order, we should get a message that a insp lot already exists,this is for source inspection.

Hello Peddibhotla,

what you could do in this case is activate the exit QAAT0001 and check if the current PO item conbination exists. The advantage in this exit is if you set the flag 'E_NO_INSPECTION' you can avoid the creation of the correspondent inspection lot.

You could also think of creating a pop-up to inform the user.
