When we save Po, it always display hold or edit button?

Hi experts

Now we create return Po doc type and create return Po . But when we save it, if it has warning message, it will pop the save screen, but the buttons are hold, edit, and cancel. So If I click hold, it will create PO but staus as hold. We can't release that po.

I tested for normal Po, it will pop the screen with save , edit and cancel. SO what;s wrong, anything I could check ?

for BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, interface :IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST

Methord: Check.

Could it set as warning not error message?

Now we pop up a window message, Or If we need setup new system message id , then pop it here,

So SAP will not consider it as hold Po ?

Dear Alice,

i think problem is only because of BADI used.

kindly make a message as "warning."

after that your po must save.

Thanks a lot, Do you mean we need craete a system message as warning , then use badi to pop it up?

If that, How I could create the message? Since our message is to identify the location with currency,

In current mm-> po-> enviroment-> system message, it seems there is not description like we need,

How we could new one ?

Now I checked it, on header and item, no any waring message now . Since we use one po badi,

it will pop up one message for user, Does it mean SAP will consider it's not complete? So we still only could hold the PO?

We use ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, interface :IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST

So does SAp consider if there is any pop up message in check methord, it will be incomplete po and ony could hold it ?

Hi

Normally this happens when the details in the PO are incomplete.

To see the header level error messages press the icon beside the Doc.date and analyse the meaasge and provide the missing information in the PO.

To see the item level error messages press the icon in the first column "S" beside the Itm number in the Item data and analyse the meaasge and provide the missing information in the PO.

Before saving always perform the check function by going to Purchse Order (from the menu bar) -> Check. It will check the correctness of the PO and give a list of error messages for you to take actions upon.

Thanks a lot , How to check which fields is mandorary to be inputed?

When I click edit, it only list warning message , efficiency price is xxx,

Before we just input such data, it could be saved , even though is has some warning mesage , like no output mesage .....

Hi,

You will get hold,edit and cancl option when your PO is incomplete.

Check for the mandatory fields, which you have missed out.
