How to get Sales Doc Output into DMS?

Hello, I am very new to the DMS...

Is it possible to configure SAP to send output of a sales document and follow-on documents (order, service and prod orders, delivery) to DMS?

Does it require going through ArchiveLink?

yes, it is possible.

when printing the document you can choose (printing dialog) if you want to print, archive or print and archive.

at first you have to configure the correct document type.

and yes, it's via archive link.

Hi,

You have to config the document type based on type of sales document.

There are two different ways of checking originals (output of sales documents) into an archive.

First you have to set status archive status in DIR and store the documents in archive. By this you will be enable to processing or versioning the originals in future.

Second you can direct check in into archive thru DIR. This originals you cannot re-edit or versionise. Only you can copy, dispay or print.

However you can attach archived document to material master or any other object thru object link.
