How to start career as a SAP MM consultant

I am EC engineer and working as maintenance engineer. But after working six years in the same company and same field I found there’s no growth so I decided to try something new which can help me to boost my career. By suggestion of my close relative I choose SAP and by doing SAP MM online course and cleared certification exam and now becoming SAP MM certified. But having no experience in this field it is difficult for me to find job. So want some favourable reply and suggestions about what next that i can do to start my new inning.

Hi - you might want to check out the S/4HANA free open online courses at open.sap.com - continue to learn, and look for positions as analyst, super user, etc. I agree it is difficult to land a job without real world experience.

Good luck

First of all, congratulations for clearing the certification course. Since you have not given much information about your current experience and you had indicated that you are working as a maintenance engineer, the ideal SAP line would be Plant Maintenance and in short, we call it as SAP PM. Install IDES in your system, explore more on this, make it a habit of going through this SCN, especially this area. All the best
