Hello , I am trying to update some business partners bank fields using DTW Version 2005.0.17 and I am getting an error.
Invalid valid value '0003' Error 65171
Any field I try to update I get the same error. Does anyone know if there is a problem with DTW or am I doing something wrong.
Thanks.
Jose
My version is 2005 pl 36 and it is consistent with dtw, i dont know if there are problems with my version that doesnt update business partners..

DTW is still the single most convenient legal way to do the job. Don't give up to try. It would be better if you could find detail row level error message to see which record and which field cause trouble.
To narrow the problem down, try using single record. Browse it by notepad before DTW. I am sure you can solve the problem.
Thanks,

I am not having any problems with any other kind of objects just the business partners. I have tried with different samples of update where I just change the cardname and i still get the same error. I dont know if there is a problem with the version of my dtw.

Hi Jose ,
It is usually very difficult to trigger what exactly the error message is on DTW .
Let me give you some hint to reduce max number of error .
1.Make sure you have two lines in DTW template .
for eg
Record Key .....
Record key ...
2. Save your Template with delimited tab fomat .
3.Check if you can see some minor errors like ',, extra unnecessary .
for example itemA' or item A""
Usually that solve lot of problem
Hope that helps
