How to set Local ADMIN permision for document

Hello Expert,

Please have issue with inherited automatically authorization in DMS. We create a folder and give authorization for some users but when create a document in this folder it doesnt get parent authorization automatically. Would you please help with this issue.

Or how we can set local ADMIN permision automatically

Hi again,

I checked for further information on ECTR side and I found the following suggestion:

Please check the parameters/files on C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\ECTR\addons\ectrwui\customize\config\default.txt.

The following indicates whether download authorization for the original file exists: sap.plm.acm.actvt_download = true / false (Standard).

The easiest way to find a preference variable in the SAP ECTR
installation or in the SAP ECTR manuals,
is to search the preference variable in the SAP ECTR Installation
folder and its subfolders.

If you search for sap.plm.acm.active in the installation folder of your
SAP ECTRinstallation, you will find the solution.

Maybe this could be useful for your issue.

Hi ,

i m working with classic DMS. When we assing some authorization for folders then when we create a document in folder then the document doesnt get folder authorization. By the way. we create folder on SAP ECTR and give authorization on CV01N. Then we create documents in the folder but the documents dont inherite authorization from the folder.

just at the beginning please tell me if you work in EasyDMS or in the "classic" DMS transactions like CV01N?

Because in EasyDMS there should be button "Create Admin Authorization" and a flag "Read inherited Authorizations".
