SAP HCM Localization for Kuwait

Dear Mentors/experts

We are implementing the KW HCM localization (Kuwait) for our client who was on 99 country grouping for payroll and we have done below activities as part of Localization.

  • Activated the suggested business function
  • Configured new PA/PSA and assigned them to the Company code under the country grouping KW
  • Configured all the actions as per the earlier 99 coutntry grouping
  • Configured the entire Time Management set up as per 99 country grouping for the new PA/PSA
  • Configured/copied the new Wage types (as per the 99 ) under the new KW country grouping.
  • Country specific Schema is being used
  • All the active employees are hired with new PERNRs (for example : if 1XXXXXXX is the PERNR is 99 country grouping, then all the employees are hired with PERNR 2XXXXXXX and Org Structure is copied to a Plan and assigned these new PERNRs to the positions under that new Plan.
  • Payroll is run successfully from 01.01.2018 for all these active employees.

My show stoppers are as below:

All the above activity is being done in a PRD replica(Mock) , in this new mock for all the KW localized employees I am running the payroll from 01.01.2018 (set the IT0003 and control record -with that data so that the Payroll executed from 01.2018)

while I compare the PRD results with that of Mock for 01.2018 , I see that the claim/payment from prev. months (due to retro) could not be captured in this Mock system, because the Payroll is being run only from 012018 and that too for new PERNRs (who are replica of old employee numbers)

So, I seek the advise from experts, Is this approach/solution correct?

Has anyone worked in KW localization earlier?

what was your approach?

Please help at the earliest.
