if you want to make Requisitioner mandatory not the PR than go to OIOPD field name AFVGD-AFNAM and click the field as required.

Dear All,

My issue get sorted out now. The purchase requisitioner name was made mandatory in MM based on the document type for maintenance service PR. I have set that field as optional so now its working fine.

Thanks for your valuable inputs

Hi

I think while creating Order you have made PR field as Mandatory

Please check in OIAN.

Steps as follows

Follow the path as below in Config

SPRO>Plant Maintenance & Customer Service>Maintenance & Service Orders-->Define Field Selection for Order Header(PM)

Go to Field selection for Order Header Data

(OIAN)

Go to Influencing

Double click on Order type

Now Enter the required Order type and Press Enter

Check for Field for Reservation/Purc.req --CAUFVD-AUDISP

Make it input if it is Required Field.

Give Points if it solves

Thanks,

Manish

Dear Manish,

I also checked in the path given by you. The Field purchase requisition is set as input only.

Hi Amar

I think for the External Services, the correct control key is PM03.

Hi Amar

Are you using Control key PM02 OR PM03?

Hello Amar,

With control key configuration for external services, you have 3 options for PR creation from Maintainence order i.e Never, from release & Immediately. Std SAP supports these 3 options only.

You can have work around for keeping PR genaration optional by defining service material for services & planning the same in Maintenance order only when you want to create PR for those services.

Hello,

I am again describing my problem in Detail.

1. I am creating corrective maintenance order taking ref Equipment

2. Going in Operation Tab page

3. Selecting the control key for external services

4. Pressing the External button below

5. Not I am entering the Service text ,its unit and Rate

6. When i am saving the screen appears in which it is asking Purchase requisition field as mandatory

7.I want this screen should not appear (ie. purchase requisition should not be mandatory)

8.I checked the Screen layout setting option in PM as well as MM in customising . The field is not been set as mandatory , but still while order processing it is mandatory.

I want to know where this setting has been made.

Regards.

Dear,

Please check the T-Code OIOPD and there you select mendatory field.

Check and let me know if it is working.

Hello,

I have already told you that the purchase requisition field is mandatory in a order. I want this field to be set as "not mandatory". In OIPD this field has not been set as mandatory based on order type.

So i want to know where exactly the setting is made so that i can remove it from there.

Dear,

In OIOPD this setting is not for any order type. This setting is for all order type.

Please check this also OICMPD,OICMPL and OIOPL

I think we are a little confused...

Questions:

- What operation control key are you using

- What message are you receiving including message number

- What if the field name e.g. AFVGD-AFNAM

Dear,

Please make sure that its purchase requistion which is medatory. I hope its Requistioner in external tab of your maintenance order while entering services is mendatory.

Purchase requistion will be created only after entering services or services has been already purchased and you to enter Frame-work order number while creating service order using control key PM03.

Dear Sir,

I am using control key for external service procurement.

My requirement is that during order processing using control key pm02(External service) the system should not ask Purch Requisitioner field should not be mandatory.

But it is mandatory and i am not getting where this has been set as mandatory so that i can remove it

I have checked all the nodes of PM as well as MM but not able to find where this has been set as mandatory .

Amar Jadhav,

Then its the Requisitioner (AFVGD-AFNAM), and not the purchase requisition as you stated in your first post!!!

Have a look at TCode OIOPD (Field selection for detail screen)

Amar Jadhav,

Did you check the "Influencing" settings in OIOPD?
