Hi all,

Im from a support background.In SXMB_MONI, while testing one interface(which is an RFC to FILE scenario), it is displaying the following error :

<SAP:Category>XIAdapterFramework</SAP:Category>

<SAP:Code area="MESSAGE">GENERAL</SAP:Code>

<SAP:P1 />

<SAP:P2 />

<SAP:P3 />

<SAP:P4 />

<SAP:AdditionalText>com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException</SAP:AdditionalText>

<SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />

Can any one tell me what are the reasons for this and the method to solve this.

Hi Prajwal,

As per the error description you have sent, it seems that there is problem in Adapter framework in delivering the message to File System or FTP server.

It could be due wrong details in FILE receiver adapter

It could be due FTP server being down.

Follow these tips:

1. Go to Runtime work bench >> Message Monitoring >> Select Adapter Engine >> Fill the selection criteria >> Start (To display the message) >> Select Details to see the audit log to know more about the problem where exactly it is.

2. Go to Runtime work bench >>Component monitoring >> Display all the components >> Select the adapter engine >>

Scroll down to see "Adapter Monitoring" >>

In new window expand the all the adapters >> Select the FILE adapter >> Scroll down to find your Communication channel and see for last log opposite to see for the problem.

This way you can find the problem and take the corrective action.
