DOCUMENT FLOW UPDATING PROCESS

Hi sap gurus

I am creating SO { Project billing business process}

where billing break up - > billing -> a/cing

• non stock item (nlag) : item category

mat a/c assgn grp( 02) : trading matrial fromstock

the problem is even the complete a/cing also done successfully also

but in document Flow it is showing

for SO (in process)

billing ( completed)

a/c ng ( cleared)

??? why in SO status still showing INPROCESS even the billing is done

pls replay ASAP

Hi,

You must first select the Update document flow field in document flow control in SD Customizing using the following menu path: Sales and Distribution --> Sales --> Maintain copy control for sales documents --> Copy control: Sales document to sales document (at item level).

Sales and Distribution -> Sales -> Sales Documents -> Sales Document Item -> Define Item Categories

Completion rule

The rule for establishing when a quotation or contract is complete.

You can, for example, specify that a quotation is complete only after its quantity has been fully referenced by subsequent documents. The system uses the completion rule to determine the status of a quotation or contract that has been referenced by other documents (by subsequent sales orders, for example).

If you want the system to apply the completion rule, you must first select the Update document flow field in document flow control in SD Customizing using the following menu path: Sales and Distribution --> Sales --> Maintain copy control for sales documents --> Copy control: Sales document to sales document (at item level).

Completion Rule:

""(space) Not relevant for completion

A Item is completed with the first reference

B Item is completed after full quantity has been referenced

C Item is completed after the target qty is fully referenced

D Item is referenced via contract release

E Item is completed after full target value is referenced

In your copy control for the relevant item-category check to see if "Update document flow" check box is set to 'X'.
