i can specify a fix user in the transaction wsconfig for a specific service.

Is it possible to do this with the new transaction soamanager?

There i can only configure that i want to use basic authentication but there is no field for username and password???

    hi,

imho, as a matter of fact it doesn't make all too much sense to activate basic authentication and preset the authentication data.

anyway, as far as i remember you couldn't preset that data in WSCONFIG directly either. you had to navigate to the respective SICF entry and input the credentials there.

it still works the same, only SOAMANAGER is not providing a link to SICF like WSCONFIG did.

in short, find your entry at /default_host/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/YOUR_SERVICE_NAME/... and enter your data there. or better rethink if you really need to do that.

    regards,

    anton
