Sender and Receiver agrrement unable to determine Communication Channel

Hi All,

I am facing an issue with communication scenario.I have created the same in Quality which is working fine and when same was replicated to production server I am facing an issue while creation of Sender and Receiver Agreement as its not showing me the sender and receiver communication channel respectively.Even I checked different blogs related to the same but couldn't file working it in my case.Here I have two Software component Version Integration 1.0 of and Integration 7.3 of Sap.Please let me know if any further clarification required.

Hello Navratan,

How did you replicate the objects to Production server, via transports or you are doing it manually? To transport the objects you need to maintain the Transport path in your SLD.

Software component versions are not relevant here as you are transporting the ID objects and not ESR objects.

Thanks for your reply.I have created the communication scenarios manually and the ESR objects have been imported correctly .The same scenario is working fine in quality server.

Nav, you said in the comments, that you manually created the ID part in production. Of course you then will need to create the communication channels also if they are not already there (e.g. an IDoc Sender channel of an ERP business system is probably going to be re-used in multiple ICOs).

Hi Jens,

I have created the whole communication scenarios including communication channel , receiver determination and interface determination manually but when I create sender and receiver agreement manually I couldn't find the sender and receiver communication channels in list for doing so.

Please forgive me if this stating the obvious, but did you create the communication channels already? You can (maybe will need to) create them very well before creating any receiver / sender agreement. Just go to the communication component / business system and from there, create new channels.

If you already created the channes but they are not visible within sender / receiver agreement, please double check the sender party / service of the sender agreement. Does it really match to those you created the channels for? Maybe use forward navigation (double click on business system from sender agreement) when using the java Swing tools
