When packing material

Hi

When packing material it comes as

"Material group packaging materials not maintained for material BALS"

How to resolve this

Assign "Matl Grp Pack.Matls" in your material master data: Basic Data 1 tab.

Dear Kumar,

Please go to MM02 transaction enter material BALS then go in to the Basic Data 1 view here you maintain the field Matl Grp Pack.Matls under Packaging material data.

The Material Group for Packaging material will be defined in IMG , Transaction is VEGR.

If not defined define the material group for packing material in the IMG through this path,

SPRO>IMG>Logistics execution>Shipping>Packing-->Define Material Group for Packaging Materials.

Also check the other packing related settings

-->Define Packaging Material Types

-->Define Allowed Packaging Materials

Now you can able to pack
