Is there a way of excluding inactive BP's from appearing in the BP search list.
Also is it possible that these codes are not able to be selected/viewed and do not appear when entering a BP in any document, such as SO, Delivery etc.
Hi Lisa,
In the current version of SAP Business One, it is not possible to filter
inactive BP's from the search grid as this information is obtained
from the tables where all BP's are stored.

Hi Lisa,
Well; I donu2019t think below requirement can be achieved without customization. We had similar request from one of our clients in the past from hiding INACTIVE and ON HOLD Customers and Vendors in Sales documents such as Sales Orders and A/R Invoice and Purchase documents. We had to do a customization which checked for expiry dates from the Business Partner file and accordingly restrict their visibility in choose from list triggering from Sales documents.

If you have check the Active check box on the BP Master and set the dates you would get the following message if the Valid to date is prior to current date.
Customer C20000 is Expired or On Hold. Document can only be saved as a draft. Continue?
