Adapters availability using multiple AS instances

Hello All,

1. Can I have the same adapter run redundantly on multiple AS instances?

2. Can the use web dispatcher to hide specific adapter URL from my applications and external parties and have web dispatcher distribute the messages to one of the multiple instances running that adapter?

If my understanding is correct, having multiple AS instances holding redundant adapters and external parties communicating with the web dispatcher, I can get high availability for my adapters.

Am I completely off base. If so, does any one have any idea how to make adapter highly available and be transparent to applications and parties communicating with XI.

For high availability and load sharing, u may use decentral adapter engine.

Yes I have gone through HA guides.

Decentralized engine does not really address the high availability but only address load balancing in my opinion.

Can you have a web dispatcher distribute the load to multiple decentralized adapter engines and the parties and application do not know these decentralized engines but communicate with the web dispatcher?
