Hello my dear workflow specialist,
I have a very quick question about the transaction SWI1_FREQ. I am having a workflow task which is a little corrupt. Now I want to complete the worklfow item because the agent is missing But my problem is that when I click into the menu "Edit" and "Work Item" the task "Complete Workitem" is grey and I cannot execute the action. Even with SAP_ALL it is not working. Can you help me to get this functionality back?
Thanks in advance
Jens
Hello, I still wonder why the action items are greyed in but I used the transaction SWWL for deleting the workitems. SWIA would work as well.
Thanks a lot
Jens

Just a short note: this is fine in DEV but avoid using it in production. It can corrupt workflows and more importantly also has audit implications.
Does it happen with only one particular WF or with any of them? Run a small test WF and try that. Also do an SU53 after you see the greyed out option.
Cheers,
Mike
Hello Mike,
Thanks for you fast reply. The SC is in status "ready" another workflow developer told me to use this transaction but now I am confused that the activity is greyed out.

Hello Jens,
Firstly, what status is the work item in? You can only complete items that are in a status ready or started.
Failing that, you can also try SWIA and use the option "Execute without agent check".
Hope that helps,
Mike
