Doubt on Release procedure

setting release procedure on P.R. that release procedure should not control the P.R which are created by MRP. any one please help me?..........

Hi,

For this you have to activate MRP on the criteria of "Creation indicator". Here use table CEBAN and field ESTKZ in CT04 for characteristics.

Here activate Release procedure only for those PRs for which ESTKZ is not equal to "B" and for rest all it will get applied. Assign this value in "Classification" in release strategy.

In SE11 Transaction, give table CEBAN.click on dispaly.

Check out whether there is a provision to define release strategy based on

Creation Indicator.

Then you can Configure Release Strategy Including this Creation Indicator.
