Last char. values transfer to batch instead of mean of physical samples

Dear SAP Experts

Due to some recent regulatory requirements we have modified our raw materials sample drawing procedures from n-plan (Under Root N + 1) to p-plan ((Under Root of N) * 0.4) that are assigned at inspection plans header.

Previously, in n-plan the mean values of inspection characteristics are same at summarize level as there was always one physical sample created for every inspection lot and with Sample Valuation/ UD those characteristics defined as reference char. to batch transmit their values to batch classification and this was all working fine from last couple of years.

The problem arise when there are multiple physical pooled sample for an inspection lot, as with this each characteristic now has multiple values based on the no. of physical pooled samples.

Our requirement here is that we want the mean of mean to be transmit to batch characteristics.

Below is an example for better understanding.

Material: 1-XXX1

Batch: B1

No of Containers: 40

Primary Samples: 40

Pooled Samples: 3 (like S1, S2 and S3)

S1 (Assay Mean) = 96.73

S2 (Assay Mean) = 97.69

S3 (Assay Mean) = 97.83

Mean of Mean (S1, S2 S3) = 97.43

Value transmit/ transfer to Batch Classification is (97.83 i.e. last value entered for last physical sample) which has to be (97.43 i.e. Mean of Mean of all 3 Samples)

In this above case the system is transmitting the data at each physical sample valuation to batch and with this the last sample value is stored in batch classification, which is wrong as the Mean of Mean of all three physical sample should be transmit to the Batch.

Even if taking the UD, the value still same (the last value entered in RR for last sample), and not changed to Mean of Mean for all physical pooled sample.
