fiscal year /period

Dear all,

I have developed a finace based report which need to take the values for the period

April- may -jue

July - august - sept

oct - nov- dec

Jan-feb-mar...

This need to be set only in BI , it does not come from R/3... Kinldy can anyone will how to gohead

Have you tried just creating a restricted key figure in the query designer using Fiscal Year/Period as selection criteria? or am i missing a more complex question here?

But you should be having some time factor from which you can derive the month in BW side. What time field do you have in R/3 extrated data?

Hi Venkat,

Right now we are running a report for finace department where we are getting the values from R/3 for fiscal year varient as V3 which takes the data for 4 fiscal year period i.e

busines year fronm April then april may and june as one set and in another set april may june july agust and sep... and nother set the same means 3 months and 6 months

but now only in bw we need to splits for 3 -3 months.. how to do that how to set the fiscal year period for the fiscal year varibale..
