Hi Faizan,

You should check in trace files for MDAS service, there are usually more details in there to determine root cause and find a solution.

Best regards,
Loic

Hi,

MDAS stands for Multi Dimensional Analysis Service, this is a service hosted in one or more Adaptive Processing Servers (=APS) which handles Analysis edition for OLAP backend processing.

You need to find which APS hosts MDAS service (there may be multiple instances), and then open latest trace file for each of these APS configured with MDAS. You should find some error messages in here corresponding to message displayed in user interface. In same *region* of log file you can search for details of same scenario explaining why query failed to execute.

In case you don't find enough information you may have to create an incident with SAP Support to get their help investigate your situation.

Best regards,

Loic
