SWU3 Configuration

Hi Experts,

i am trying to configure SWU3.. There "Configure RFC Destination" is not configured.

i tried to configured it manual but it giving the following messages.

1- RFC user is locked or invalid

2- RFC user has wrong Password.

3-Synchronization of passwords Failed.

I am having SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW..... can i authorize to do this configuration or some in these error message.

You've gotten it into a bit of a mess by changing passwords. Delete the userid and the RFC destination to start again. Create them using the generate button in SWU3.

Hi Mike thanks its working now..But Still i have some questions in my mind.

1- What password it saved for WF-Batch in RFC caz its showing

PW Status = saved.

2- And as Workflow Point of view what else we should maintain in wf-batch user info.

Hi,

It generates a random password and saves the same password everywhere that it is necessary. Nobody needs to know this password, because it is only used internally anyway.

The only important things to maintain for WF-BATCH are e-mail address and the user name. The address is necessary to be able to send e-mail from workflow, and the name is what will appear under "From:" in people's e-mails that they receive from workflow.

Ram i am able to change the password of WF-batch using su01.

but when i tried to edit rfc connection, it was not edit able?
