How to Add Export option in the dashboard?

Hi ,

i need to add an export option in my dashboard .....i.e., i want the end user to select the dashbaord as per there wish to view the dashboard in different formats.

Example...if a user wants to see the dashboard in pdf format he needs to just click on the pdf icon inorder to see the dashboard in pdf format.

Like wise in word.....outlook express etc.

I mainly want it to be kept in the dashboard which i generated as swf ouput.

pls help out.

Hi,

The Xcelsius Designer can output the visualization in different formats (SWF, PDF, Word, etc) but you can't do that in a SWF itself.

The closest you could get is to export to the formats you want, then use a URL Link Button to navigate to the different versions (not sure if that would work for Outlook).

You may find that you need to embed the PDF, Word and PPT in an iFrame in an HTML page to get this navigation to work...
