Components not transferred with the PPM

Hi Experts,

May I kindly ask for your help with my PPM?

I have two(2) materials where the components where not transferred to the APO system when the PPM was cifed. I already checked on the BOM and the production version of these 2 materials and the configuration looks ok.

Are there other factors that could have affected the BOM not being able to be transferred to the APO system?

Really hoping for your feedback.

Sincerely yours,

Ria

Hi,

I saw something in the Group Counter, is it possible that 2 different materials will have the same group counter for the production version?

Thanks a lot.

Hello ,

A group counter differentiates between task lists of the same group ,that describes different processing sequences.

In Production Planning and Control, for example, it serves to identify alternative production processes in task lists and is used to make a distinction between similar task lists.

The group counter can be used to identify different lot-size ranges in the routing , for example

So for a product and task list group the Group counter number is unique.

Hence 2 different materials can have the same group counter .

Thanks & Regards

Hi Ria,

You must trasfer the materials to APO before PPM.
