Opening Job in Progress way in SAP Business One

Dear All,

What is the way by which Opening Job In Progress is done in SAP Business One. The situation is that in the legacy system and in the closing Balance Sheet there is value for Job in Progress and now we want to put into SAP as Opening Job in Progress with effect in Finished Goods inventory and with effect in the Financial.

The Work in progress account is affected when you create a Issue to Production.

Typically, the Inventory Raw Materials / Inventory account is credited and the Inventory - WIP (work in progress) account is debited.

You could probably import the transaction as Production Orders and process an Issue to Production.
