Authorization Setting for end user in SAP B1

Hi ,

I have some queries that how to set the authorization so that the end user could open the form of goods receipt and delivery by not having the add mode

but the Copy From & copy to Button Should be active

Plz help

Hi,

Without programming a specific addon, the only which I can think about is to modify the TransactionNotification procedure to manually trigger an error depending on a configuration table (user - object).

But, by doing this, the user won't have any visual clue that he doesn't have the authorization to enter a new document.

Hi Eric,

The error message can by tailored to include detail information such as: "authorization needed". User who try to add document can get this message at the bottom of the screen.

Hi,

I know, I'm using it sometimes (when I'm not allowed to program).

What I wanted to emphasis to the original poster is that, without any specific development, this is only a workaround and the user won't have any visual clue that the task that he ant to realize is forbiden.
