For project point of view ,
we will see data in cube by going to that cube thn right click... manage, here you will get the 'contents' of that cube (click that cube name and thn cilck on contents tab on top with display symbol)means you can see the data in that cube...you can select which ever fields you want to see the data.
contents tab below is just for viewing the info objects of that cube and the fact table details etc... its self explanatory.
Here "request" tab is most imp, we need to check for green request and also report symbol is availble or not and how many records "add'd n transfered" becoz for full load no problem... if its delta then v must be v.cautious and also request number at last.
Performance tab: click on "qustion mark symbol" you will get help.. its much self explanatory. when you use index on that cube then only its used. (i hope you know abt index's)
Rollup tab: if rollup is not done for that particular request then we wil paste that request number ( which is taken from request tab) and thn click on "execute" button. you can see the "agrregates for that cube". ( i hope you know about roll up.. we will do after initail feild and roll up is must for agrregates).
collapse tab: when there is compression and need to release that thn we use this tab.. here we write that request number n thn press 'release'.. rarely use.
Reconstruction tab: its one of the imp tab. when you want to edit data in psa thn you delete that red request in tat request tab, thn only its allowed to edit that data in psa, after editing ( as you lost that request) you will do the reconstruction of that particular request. when data is in psa then only you can do this reconstruction.
