Can we transfer master data from Development to quality or production

what is standard procedure we upload master data on which server in std .

can master data be transferd ?

Yes we can Transfer Master Data..

Through ALE (Application Link Enabling)

Take ABAPer Help

We can use EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) as well for master data transfer.

2. what is standard procedure we upload master data on which server in std .

We have to upload Master Datas in Every Server i.e., Dev, Qlty and Production.

We can upload these master data through LSMW, BDC or ECATT.

but if i upload master data only in production server is it right procedure ?

rather than in development or quality ..

You can Upload the Data directly in Production Server.

But, For this Upload u will use LSMW or some other method.

Client may have hundreds of master records, to ensure that there are no errors,

you will upload the data first in development or in quality.

Then you have to upload the same in production.
