two background jobs have a same process ID. Why?

Dear All,

I check our background job, find some jobs have running for a long time and can not complete, can not stop.

In the Job details , I find the two jobs have the same PID. the two Job run the same programe, but have each other variant, and scheduled the differ start time.

Why they have the same PID? SAP bug?

Hi Wu,

if you mean that you have two jobs which seem running on the same batch process, then at least one of them has stopped running but the batch management have not realized that. This happens for example when your system crashes. Then sometimes you have to check active jobs to refresh their status. You could just select the active jobs and check status (choose the appropriate option from menu) for all of them. Then you should get the correct job status for each job.
