How to remove component reservation that was created {reservation automatically} after Prod.Order released.

Dear,

Automatically created reservation (i.e. dependent resrvatons) can be deleted only by making the production order status as technically completed - TECO. This is applicable to all the components in that order.

If you want to delete only one component reservation after production order is released the following are the ways to do that\

1. you can delete that component in production order component list screen.

2. If for any reason if you cannot delete the componment, then in the component detailed screen activate final issue tick.

Hi,

Reservations are created when order gets released.

1. can clear these reservations at the time of the order confirmations by clicking on checkbox for clear open reservations.

2. You can also clear this reservations by using transaction code MB22 & deleting the reservations.

3. You can delete all reservations by deleting material documents or by cancelling process order confirmations.

4. Or by checking final issue in process order transaction COR2.

If you want to remove reservation of only one or two material then tick final issue idicator in component screen.

Another way to do this is by changing the order status to TECO, but it will remoce reservation for all the BOM components.

Hi sankaran,

to Clear Reservation of Component generated against Order No......is simply u put a tick at Clear Reservation check Box at the time of confirmation of Order no. This will clear Component Reservation generated against the Process/Production Order.

Dear Shankar,

If you want to clear those automatically created reservations for the order's,set the TECO status in Change

mode of the production order in CO02.

Once the TECO status is set,then those reservations get's cleared.

Hi Narayana,

When you execute TECO for a production order, all the reservation will be cleared.

are no other screen using the order or material.

Next option is to delete the reservation directly via MB22. sometimes this option is not possible, normally when Reservations are created automatically by the system, in this case only deleting the source of the reservation.

Final option is to clean only the reservation for a given material, just go to the ordern in change mode, and then to the material details, and set the flag "on" for the field "Final Issue".
