Production order confirmation during CO15 transaction

Dear,

I am doing production order confirmation by CO15 ,My order is of 5 qty. i enter 2 yield ,2 scrap and 1 rework during confirmation.when i am doing good receipt for order system should allow me only good receipt of 3 qty ie 2 yield & 1 rework qty.But my problem is that system allowing me goods receipt of scrap qty confirmed,

logically it shouls not happen.

Can you give solution for above problem.Is there any setting or user exit available.

Dear,

I think you are confirming 2 yeild qty and doing the GR in MIGO/MB31.

If so system will present the target qty from production order and not the confirmation qty from operation.

If you are expecting that then you need to do GR during confirmation with control key for last operation which supports GR...in std sap system it is PP03/PI03.

Thats the problrm ,system should not propose target qty. of order,it should propose target qty. minus

scrap qty. enetred.

Hi,

If you want to good reciept for scrap then you need to maintain it BOM with -ve quantity after that system will allow you posting of scrab stock in inventory with 531 movement type.

My question is that qty. found scrap during confiramation,to maitained scrap in bom you must know scrap qty. before creation of production order.

Hi Vidya sagar,

Here you need to understand one thing,scrap which you declare in confirmation is just for information purpose,it doesnt mean that scrapped qty will be posted to scrap sloc or any movmnt will happen automatically,scar can be handled in diff ways,either GR all the qty & then from there do transfer posting scrap sloc or keep the material as negative qty in component overview-prod order & during auto GR this will also get posted
