Copy Stock on Hand Key figure From SNP Planning Book

Hello Experts,

Currently i am using SCM 5.0. In SNP Planning book we have one Aux. Key figure i.e Stock On hand.i want to copy Stock On Hnad Key Figure from SNP planning Book to DP planning Book.In DP planning Area I have Created Stock on Hand Key Figure.

I tried with LCOUT transaction but in that System was asking for Catagory Group & the Aux. Key Figure Stock On Hand is not having any Catagory Group.But I want to copy the data of Stock on Hand key figure from SNP to DP.

How can i map this scenario?

This is urgent requirement,so does anyone help me regarding the same?

Hi,

In SCM 5.0 there is the option to add the timeserious key figure without deactivating the planning area.

Go to planning area and do right click there you find the option change key figure setting and add the keyfigure.

You would need to add a time series key figure in SNP planning area and make it part of the book. Write a macro mimic'ing the calculation of stock on hand macro into that time series key figure. Finally release that time series key figure into DP.

But is it possible by other way? Becz if i want to add Time Series Key figure in SNP planning Area,then i need to deinitialize Planning Area & if i will add one more key figure in Planning Area,then i need to correct Data Flow Process which we are using for Taking Backup of SNP Planning Area.

So is there any way to achive above requirement?

You would only lose time series data on deinitializing SNP planning area. You would not lose order data. So I dont see too much downside. Most of the time series key figures in SNP area (if any being used) would anyway be derived key figures from other key figures. You probably do not even need to back this up. However, please do backup the SNP planning area before doing this exercise just in case.

Hi,

LCOUT transaction is mainly used for releasing the order series data to time serious data,here your stock on hand keyfigure is time serious keyfigure,then you need to give the category group.

So you create some dummy category group and assign that keyfigure to that category group then you release the data from SNP to DP.
