Loading Weight

Can anyone tell me how does the system calculate the loading weight in the handling unit?

Can anyone also tell me where to do all the settings.

In the handling unit the total weight appears 54 althought the weight of the delivery 36 LB. The packaging material weight is .01 kg. the number of items are 20 and their weight is 1.84.

Logic to arrive at loading weight in HU is as under:

For Eg: 2 spare part are to be delivered. Each will be packed in one inner box each & then both will be packed in one outer box. The weight is taken from Material Master.

Spare Part is say 5 KG each.

Inner Box is say 0.5 KG each

Outer Box is say 1 Kg each.

The Total weight will be as under:

Inner Box weight with spare part will be 5.5 Kgs Each

Weight of Outer Box with Inner Box will be ((5.5 * 2) + 1) i.e (11 + 1), Total weight being 12 Kgs.
