cost center problem

I have created 1 profit centre and assign to wrongly cost centre but user want some modification- means following problems we got

a. wrongly profit center created 33701

b. we have original profit center and cost centre is 2490101

but mail problem is in cost cetre 2490101 profit centre 33701 is activated

For profit center make it inactive or change the validity period.

Hi,

Go to transaction code KS02 and change the profit center. You might get warning message saying profit center is being changed despite having values in it. You can ignore it and continue.

In case values have gone to profit center because of postings to cost center, you can transfer values from one profit center to another. This way your profit centers will have correct values. Assessment cycle can be used for the above purpose.
