Picking List

Could anyone plz tell me,at what stage picking list is created and what is use of it.

Ashima,

• Picking list is required if you have warehouse management active.

• This is created when the transfer order is created (LT03) and confirmed.

• The transaction to view the picking list is VL06P.

Hello,

You use the pick list to pick items from the warehouse and to pack them for shipping. Normally the ouput condition type EK00 will be maintined for the shipping point.

Transaction VL70 canbe used to execute / print pick list.

Hi,

When you create TO from TR it is decided what, how many, from where, to where to move within the WH (at the time of confirmation you can change the qty). In this phase you print a picking list because WH workers are not likely to know by heart the material movements so they need some information to be able to execute the goods movement (if they have equipments for this purpose then there's no need for paper-based picking list).

In some cases it may be important to document goods movement.
