Solution document attachment document shows blank page

Dear colleagues,

We are using Solution Manager 7.2. I accessed to transaction SOLDOC. There I made structure of folders to describe solution. Then I add some document with right click New->Documentation->Document(Upload). Document is attached and can be found in list, but when i try to open (display) system opens blank page (about:blank) in new browser session. When I choose Edit Online system open document in respective application (word, excel…) and here I don’t see issue. But I can’t display document.

Could you help me how to solve this?

Hi Harry,

Recently I have had the same problem. In my case I did the following:

1. Download and install ACF software.

2. Adjust parameters for internet Explorer.

3. Restart services (SolmanDoc and smud_frame).

And don´t forget install certificates.

I do have the same problem on SolMan 7.20 SPS06. Note 2482628 does not help, because it covers the use with a Content Server. Wedo not have one.

Any suggestions?

Hello Matthias Dörfel,

Solution Manager has inbuilt document management system(internal content server) so you don't need a separate one. Thus you need to activate the bsp or this service as per SAP note shared that it is active

Hi Alexandre,

I tried this but issue remains. Maybe I did something wrong because i didn't understand what means "Fill anonymous logon data". should i fill client, user name and pass or what? how to do it?

Also i didn't understand how to do this step "Also confirm, CONTENTSERV is using user type 'Service', should not be 'System'."
