I am sorry if the question is not well formed because I am not an expert in Transportation Management.

(1) Talking about the very latest version of TM, which is not a separate box but integrated module in ECC , do we have extensive webdynpro for abap applications ? (are the earlier version's webdynpro abap applications continued?)

(2) Do these applications have fiori tiles ? are they suitable to run in fiori or do we continue them in classic on-premise portal ?

(3) How do we make use of HANA Cloud Platform in this case? what are the benefits of HCP over conventional portal ? (This question is because of the very extensive TM webdynpro applications, how will they change or be impacted)

(4) What exactly is the TM Collaboration portal coming up with the latest, yet to release version?

(5) what is the best reading or reference material related to the future of webdynpro abap applications in TM module w.r.t. HCM / Collaboration portal / Wed IDE / Fiori against the current conventional classical e-portal.

There has been no response on this question. have I posted it in wrong forum ? I have trying to read about it and get some answers BUT I am still not sure.

Could anyone please give some comment on this concept of webdynpro abap vs Cloud Portal ?

(1) Talking about the very latest version of TM, which is not a separate box but integrated module in ECC , do we have extensive webdynpro for abap applications ? (are the earlier version's webdynpro abap applications continued?) --> yes, webdynpro abap applications will continue.

(2) Do these applications have fiori tiles ? are they suitable to run in fiori or do we continue them in classic on-premise portal ? --> no, the webdynpro abap applications would continue to look the same but they could be integrated into the Launchpad.

(3) How do we make use of HANA Cloud Platform in this case? what are the benefits of HCP over conventional portal ? (This question is because of the very extensive TM webdynpro applications, how will they change or be impacted) ---> The webdynpro applications will continue to be developed in webdynpro abap and not in Web IDE / SAPUI5

(4) What exactly is the TM Collaboration portal coming up with the latest, yet to release version? --> Are the main benefits about responsive screen (device independent) and the new tile based UI ?

(5) what is the best reading or reference material related to the future of webdynpro abap applications in TM module w.r.t. HCM / Collaboration portal / Wed IDE / Fiori against the current conventional classical e-portal. --> I heard that TM runs on extensive webdynpro abap applications. would they need to be continued in netweaver enterprise portal ?
