Solman synchronized with SAP CRM, is it possible?

Hello everyone,

i'm trying to find out if is it possibile to synchronize Solman and CRM. We are doing a project where we have to implement a Service desk managed with CRM. Solman monitor all the server and save alert in his service desk. Then we need a method to syncronize all data (Business Partner, iBase, Service Ticket) throught that two system.

I've seen no IMG for our purpose, we are thinking to use XI/PI, but i want to know if someone have some good idea:

Thanks in advace

Moreno

    Hey Moreno,

I dont think you need any other system like XI to achieve this....

What you need to do is may be link both your CRM and Solman system thru a simple RFC connection...

Then the replication part can be done using custom developments.... which is based on ABAP...

If you go for XI and stuff you are complicating matters i feel....

Anyways i am still not convinved about using a CRM system for Service Desk...Solman system(7.0) itself is based on CRM 5.0.... So why not use the solman system for service desk.... as it gives all the facilities a CRM system could possibly provide...

    Inspire ppl by rewarding...

    Regards,

    Anand...
