where is vbr defined and what is its functionality.if I want to remove vbr from any place and put a new account identifier in place of vbr what would be the adverse effect or will it not make any adverse effect anywhere in the system.

Hi,

VBR-is the Transaction Key For Consumption , It is mantained In OBYC to link FI-MM & also it is Mantained in Account Assignment Categories. Where field can also be mantained.

Path----SPRO>IMG>MATERIAL MANAGMENT >PURCHASING>ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT>MANTAIN ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT CATEGORIES.

VBR is the account key meant for 'Consumption' entries and the same is linked to GL account in OBYC
