Hi

Is it possible to copy selections from one planning book to another? The books are in different planning areas.

Thanks in advance

Each selection description is associated with a cryptic Selection ID which is a primary key.

Selection ID along with planning area and planning book make up the primary key.

Having said that, it should be possible using the following two tables

/SAPAPO/TS_SELKO

/SAPAPO/TS_SELPO

The latter table needs to be done first using the SE16--> "create with template" option. Once you have the selection ID created in the latter table, you can again use the "create with template" option in the former table.

Hi,

As per my understanding of your problem, below given procedure should help you.

One can get all Selection Profile when you clcil on ' Selection profile" icon on the left side of planning book. next step is to grag and drop required selection profile form right side of window to left side and assign them to required user.Save it. And dthen user is free to make use fo selection profile for any planning book.

Dear Nil,

You cannot use a single selection ID in all the planning Books. The procedure you said will work for different data views but not for other planning books specially the one's based on different Planning Areas.

But do the both planning areas have the same characteristics? I'm afraid there are many constraints regarding this.
