Hi

Delta Cache Refresh: Any new objects that have been created/modified during the design/configuration activities are inserted into the temporary database tables when we use delta cache refresh option.

You will delta cache refresh when u create a business scenario or u transport a new business scenario to XI Production.

Complete Cache Refresh: All entries in temporary cache tables are deleted and a background program for inserting the complete information about all the design/configuration objects.

You will do Complete Cache refresh when u update u r system with patches like XI AF Core / XI AF , when u do it production systems when messages flowing through XI then most of messages will be in system Errors until cache refresh finished.

Thanks
