errror with LSMW

getting error in LSMW saying "no target structures could be found" and "no target fields".help me out

yes..the method is recording one.

actually i've copied an object from other project and trying to use it.now its giving error saying "no target structures could be found" when trying to open structure relationships step..and when trying to convert data..its saying"no target field"

Hi deepthi

Have you checked in the first step maintain object attributes whether the recording does exits or not .If not it means that when you have copied the object the recording doesnot gets copied you need to copy the recording from your older object to the new object.Goto administration----->copy the recording.

Secondly in the step maintain field mappings and rules establish a relationship to the structure by clicking on the relationship tab.

Hi Deepthi,

Wht Somnath said is right.

Firstly while copying the object from another project and if it is a recording method then u need to copy the recording and then the object and make sure that the recording exists in the project. Else it will give u the error.

Check wether u have given link to target file or not... if u have given check wiether the data exist in that file or not............
